This carrier is designed to safely hold any casserole dish, or pot up to 12” x 12”
The Porter has two ½” dia. wooden handles that won’t bend or break – we tested it with a 7-qt cast-iron Dutch Oven. The handles can easily be removed if you need to launder the porter. Use the strap to secure your covered casserole, bowl or pot. If your pot has handles, you can slip the strap through them. When you lift the sides, the weight of the dish will cause the rustic weight linen to snuggle up to to the sides of the dish, holding it securely in an upright position. Works perfectly with the Casserole Cozy (sold separately).
