These drawstring pouches are as utilitarian as they are lovely. Traditionally used in Japan as a kimono accessory, I have adapted the kinchaku to be a durable work bag that you can carry slung over your shoulder like a half-backpack. Constructed with rustic linen that will serve you for years while pleasing the eye with it’s homespun beauty. The front of the pouch is stitched with the Sashiko pattern Nowacki (grasses). Inside there is a double pocket with flap and grommet hole /key chain ring. Pouch is 14″ wide x 17″ high. Strap runs from top on one side to middle of bottom to be worn slung over one shoulder resting under the arm. Top is closed with a cord drawstring.
