These drawstring pouches are as utilitarian as they are lovely. Traditionally used in Japan as a kimono accessory, this rustic linen adaption of the kinchaku pouch can be used as a sling bag that you can carry over your shoulder or as a backpack. Will serve you for years, while pleasing the eye with it’s homespun beauty. The front of the pouch is handstitched stitched with your choice of traditional Sashiko grass pattern or flower. Inside there is a double pocket with a flap and a grommet hole /key chain ring. Pouch is 14″ wide x 17″ high. Top is closed with a cotton covered cord drawstring that also serves as pouch straps. Wear over one shoulder with opening facing front for easy access, or over two shoulders to get out of the way when walking or biking.
